Those of you who follow this blog may know my slight obsession with a certain ‘twin-track’ jacket in an apple green made by Private White V.C. Some of you may also know that I got that certain jacket for my birthday that has just passed. Perfection.
Just over a week has passed since I unwrapped the waxed delight. However, I walked past the Private White Lambs Conduit street shop yesterday and saw this in the window.
Based on a WWII Mackinaw/Jeep coat and an article that I certainly think that could stand up against the grandparent model. The price, may be more than that of the vintage counterpart, but with the styling, quality and finish of this jacket I’d say it’s worth saving up for.. or at least it’s worth a try.
Who knows maybe I’ll get it next year for my birthday..
