Seaside sampling : The beginnings.

Yesterday I made my way down to the workshop in order to start the sampling of the jacket that I’ve been working on. Meters of fabric, trimmings and sketches packed into my duffle, it was a day I’d been looking forward to. About an hour outside of London I arrived, went through all the particular details and specifications I had. Next Friday it should be ready.
Whilst I was out of London I chose to make my way down to Brighton because I’m not going to come all this way and not see the sea. There I arranged to meet up with a chap who’s just started making his own brew of pomade hair products, of which I plan to start supplying online in the future.
As the winter evening light drew, I made my exit back up to London on the 5:16 train – ready to start making plans for the next piece.
