Finding a room of soles : The family shoe shop concealed for 40+ years.

I hear of these stories every now and then from vintage dealers and shop owners. Finding a shop, boarded up and untouched for decades. Left as it was, suspended in time behind a door whilst everything moves on outside.
This very shoe shop was open from the 40’s through to the 60’s and was run all the way up until it closed when the owner fell ill. Decades on the grandchildren (now grandparents themselves) decided to check what the room was below their relatives house – to which they found this.
