#10Men1City : Hackett A/W14.

10men1city_1A few weeks back I was contacted by Hackett to come in and have a chat about hooking up with them for their new A/W 14 campaign. Interested to find out more I went along to a private breakfast at their New Bond Street (London) showroom last week where I was met by 9 other chaps who had all been summoned for the same very reason. It was an interesting meeting of bloggers, designers and dapper chaps-about-town. There we were welcomed and de-briefed – in an almost secret service/Men in Black sort of way- very novel! We were all presented with our own jackets, which were selected from the new A/W range and were sent on our way with a hash tag and London on the doorstep.image002

We were tasked to go out into London (Hackett’s natural habitat) and share ‘our own’ London – be it up the top of the Shard or in a back alley SoHo coffee shop – all whilst wearing our chosen garment. Share them via Instagram and after a month of sharing are special places with our various followers Hackett would select their favourite image. Simple but very effective and I’m happy to be part of the challenge. 1K3A0925
