House in hibernation : The 1956 time-warp.

Imagine it. A couple go to buy a house in 1956, after they purchase it they decide not to live in it and shut the doors to the world on it for 54 years. Hard to imagine isn’t it… well it happened.

In 2010, furniture designer Nathan Chandler bought this very house. Here he found a house with box fresh pastel pink, salmon gold trimmed fittings and appliances. A rare sight.
