The new line : Scott Fraser Collection wide leg trouser launch.

Based on the success of the first launch of wide-legged, high-waist trousers earlier in the year, we have just dropped two new additions to the Scott Fraser site.
We have these two styles; The Empire and the V-back trouser, with one more style to follow in the coming months. Here’s a little look at both.

Empire high-waist peg trousers

Inspired by travellers of the HSS Empire Windrush. In different circles these are known as peg trousers or a zoot pants.hss-wr-full-copy

– High-waist
– Peg trouser shape
– Tapered ankle (6.5-7 inch hem width)
– Double reverse (American) pleats
– 1 1/2″ inch dropped belt loops
– Flap back pocket

Photo shows the two-tone grey herringbone wool fabric option, but there are several other fabric options online to choose from. Each piece is made in London.

V-back wide-leg trousers

Reminiscent of the golden-era actors and artists from the 40s and 50s.

A second take on our ever-popular high-waisted trouser, using the same pattern shape – this time we’ve added a few new details.

– High-waisted
– Wide leg
– Dropped belt loops
– Double inward/forward pleats
– V-split rear waist band
– Tab-button single back pocket
– Concealed waist band pocket
– 10″ inch leg hem opening

Photo shows the blue herringbone wool fabric option, but there are several other fabric options online to choose from.
